Taken by force is a hardcore band from Newcastle, Australia. The band formed in late 2008, recorded a demo earlier the next year and have been playing shows since. Mixing heavy hardcore with some metal influences, Tbf aim to create heavy, pissed off music that they, themselves believe in.
Their debut album "Taking back what's mine" was written throughout 2010. The album was recorded and produced by Sam Johnson (50 Lions, Against, House vs Hurricane) at ThreePhase studios in Melbourne in July. The album was then sent overseas to Alan douches at west-westside music. Douches has mastered albums by bands such as Converge, Hatebreed and Mastodon to name a few.
